Located in Ingolstadt, the plant processes over 5 million tonnes of crude oil annually, producing a full spectrum of fuels— including gasoline blends (E0, E5, E10), diesel, aviation fuel, and heating oils— as well as liquid gases, propylene, and bitumen. Leveraging a trans-Alpine pipeline feed and a 24-hour operation staffed by 360 employees and 150 contractors, the refinery ranks among Europe’s top ten most efficient facilities. In addition to fuel production, it supplies district heating to the region, harnessing process waste heat to cut CO2 emissions by up to 73,000 t.
