About

Munich Motorsport is the Formula Student racing team of Munich University of Applied Sciences, founded in 2005 as the FHM Racing Team. The team, comprising about 60 students from engineering, computer science, design, business, and other disciplines, dedicates significant free time to designing, building, and competing with combustion, electric, and driverless racecars. Since 2006 they have competed in Formula Student Combustion, added electric competition in 2010, and driverless in 2017, consistently showcasing innovative engineering solutions that represent the university and its sponsors. Their interdisciplinary, hands‑on approach and commitment to applying classroom theory to real‑world racing technology set them apart in the student motorsport community.
