The O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University is a leading interdisciplinary research and education center that leverages legal expertise to address critical health challenges worldwide. Situated within the Georgetown Law Center, the Institute collaborates with the university’s health, medicine, public policy, and ethics schools to produce rigorous scholarship, conduct policy‑focused research projects, and train the next generation of health law leaders. Its work spans seven thematic areas—including food and drug law, global health governance, health and human rights, and infectious and non‑communicable diseases—providing legal research, scholarship, and education that translate into actionable public‑ and private‑sector policies.
