About
The Osborne Association is a nonprofit dedicated to improving outcomes for individuals, families, and communities affected by incarceration. Operating five community sites in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Buffalo, Manhattan, and Newburgh, as well as programs in more than 30 prisons and jails, Osborne delivers evidence‑based services such as case management, job training, substance‑use treatment, parenting education, peer mentoring, and restorative justice. These programs are designed to support successful reentry, reduce recidivism, and strengthen families. In addition to direct services, Osborne leads systemic change through the Osborne Center for Justice Across Generations, offering policy advocacy, training, technical assistance, and research on innovative justice reforms. Guided by values that emphasize change, humanity, equity, and accountability, the organization provides a comprehensive suite of services—including court advocacy, benefits enrollment, youth development, and trauma‑informed care—to advance a more just and equitable criminal‑justice system.
