About
Carleton University’s School of Public Policy and Administration (SPPA) is Canada’s premier institution for policy education, offering a PhD in Public Policy, a Master of Public Policy and Administration (with an Indigenous Policy concentration), a Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership, and a Master of Arts in Sustainable Energy. It also provides three part‑time, online graduate diplomas in Public Policy and Program Evaluation, Indigenous Policy and Administration, and Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. SPPA graduates are highly employable, with the majority entering federal or provincial government roles and nonprofit organizations. Students benefit from modern classrooms and collaborative spaces in Richcraft Hall, a vibrant student society that hosts networking events and socials, and a robust network of nearly 70 years of distinguished alumni.
