Trees for the Future is an international development organization dedicated to environmental restoration and poverty alleviation through the implementation of agroforestry practices. For over 30 years, they have empowered farmers in Africa to transform degraded land into productive Forest Gardens – sustainable systems integrating trees and crops. This hands-on training provides farmers with the skills and resources needed to improve food security, build economic resilience, and combat climate change. TREES’ core methodology focuses on regenerative agriculture and nature-based solutions, offering a long-term, holistic approach to sustainable land management. They work directly with farming communities in Senegal, Mali, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, providing not just technical expertise, but also the support necessary to break cycles of poverty and build thriving, self-sufficient futures.
