Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Adult Mental Health Services Crisis Services Unit Office Manager, Coordinator, or Supervisor, performs a wide variety of secretarial/support tasks, which require proficiency in the use of a typewriter and a computer. Exercises independent judgment; may also work in a Community Mental Health Authority office independently located from the main program site. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA mission, policies and procedures. The secretary will cover both the Adult CSU and the Youth CSU.
Requirements: Possession of a High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.A minimum of two years of administrative/secretarial experience or equivalent required. Must be able to communicate accurately and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must pass a Microsoft and Excel exam with a proficient score required. Ability to master all software, as needed is required. May be required to possess a valid Michigan driver's license. Access to reliable means of transportation for job related use required.
Conditional Employment Requirements: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a Michigan State Police clearance check. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Salary/Hours: $18.93 - $20.95 hourly. 40 hours per week, M-F 8am-5pm.
