Your Impact in This Role
As a Production Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Production Leadership
- Lead daily production activities, ensuring safe and efficient operations
- Supervise employees and subcontractors with safety as the top priority
- Drive accountability and encourage reporting of unsafe conditions
- Ensure compliance with permits and regulatory requirements
- Develop and manage annual production work plans
Operational Excellence
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Apply lean manufacturing and process optimization techniques
- Ensure production aligns with budget and operational targets
- Partner with teams to solve issues quickly and effectively
Production Planning & Execution
- Ensure production targets and schedules are met
- Collaborate closely with production schedulers and leadership
- Proactively address delays, challenges, or resource gaps
Quality, Efficiency & Cost Control
- Balance customer requirements with production efficiency
- Maintain high standards in quality, output, and cost management
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop your team for long-term success
- Build a strong, collaborative, high-performing work environment
- Conduct performance evaluations and support career growth
What You Bring to the Table
Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred)
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Technical Skills
- Experience with lean manufacturing / process improvement
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance systems
- Ability to troubleshoot 480VAC / 3-phase systems
- Hands-on experience with:
- Mechanical conveyors, motors, pulleys
- Rigging and heavy equipment handling
Additional Strengths
- Six Sigma certification (a plus)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word required)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
