Job Description:

Your Impact in This Role

As a Production Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Production Leadership

  • Lead daily production activities, ensuring safe and efficient operations
  • Supervise employees and subcontractors with safety as the top priority
  • Drive accountability and encourage reporting of unsafe conditions
  • Ensure compliance with permits and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and manage annual production work plans

Operational Excellence

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the site
  • Apply lean manufacturing and process optimization techniques
  • Ensure production aligns with budget and operational targets
  • Partner with teams to solve issues quickly and effectively

Production Planning & Execution

  • Ensure production targets and schedules are met
  • Collaborate closely with production schedulers and leadership
  • Proactively address delays, challenges, or resource gaps

Quality, Efficiency & Cost Control

  • Balance customer requirements with production efficiency
  • Maintain high standards in quality, output, and cost management

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop your team for long-term success
  • Build a strong, collaborative, high-performing work environment
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support career growth

What You Bring to the Table

Experience & Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred)
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

  • Experience with lean manufacturing / process improvement
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot 480VAC / 3-phase systems
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Mechanical conveyors, motors, pulleys
    • Rigging and heavy equipment handling

Additional Strengths

  • Six Sigma certification (a plus)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word required)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
