3rd Shift Assembler
Assembly – Job Responsibilities and Requirement
Reading Blueprints and Specifications
Assemblers must be able to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and flat layouts to ensure the accurate assembly of box cabinets, Racks and related components. Basic Understanding of Building skills, Electrical or mechanical background is a plus.
Using Tools and Assembly Techniques
Responsibilities include bending fastening devices, fitting and securing interlocking parts, and applying touch-up paint to finished cabinets as needed.
Packing for Shipment
Assemblers are responsible for properly packing cabinets for shipment to ensure products are protected and prepared for delivery
Duties include moving materials using hand trucks or fork trucks and completing required documentation and related paperwork.
Physical Requirements
The position requires frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, along with other physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, and grasping.
Safety Compliance
Assemblers must follow all workplace safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, ear protection, and safety shoes. (Steel Toed shoes)
Dress Code: Long pants covered with steel-toed shoes, T-shirts, no tank tops, no drapery wear clothing with holes in tears rips.
