86 Avionics Technician
What you'll do

Execute the hands‑on build, test, repair, and troubleshooting of avionics assemblies to support vehicle integration and test activities.

Assemble and integrate avionics hardware, including PCBs, cable harnesses, and equipment assemblies.

Build, terminate, and route electrical harnesses, ensuring correct workmanship and configuration.

Perform soldering and rework on avionics assemblies to aerospace workmanship standards.
-
Test avionics units and assemblies, supporting functional checks and fault‑finding during integration.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during avionics build‑up and integration, addressing setbacks quickly and pragmatically.

Repair and rework avionics hardware as required to maintain build progress.
-
Follow and uphold ESD, safety, and quality control procedures at all times.
-
Support engineers during integration, test, and AIT activities with rapid, hands‑on execution.
Who you are
-
An Avionics Technician with hands‑on experience in military or civil aviation environments.
-
Proven experience in avionics assembly, repair, and troubleshooting.
-
Skilled in soldering, harness build, and electrical assembly.
-
Comfortable working from drawings, wiring diagrams, and build instructions.
-
Strong understanding of ESD controls and electronic workmanship standards.
-
Detail‑oriented and reliable, with a strong focus on build quality and correctness.

Calm and practical when addressing integration issues and unexpected build problems.
-
Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced engineering and AIT environment.
-
