Job Description:

Project Planning & Execution

● Responsible for end-to-end execution of engineering and project activities in API

manufacturing facilities.

● Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project timelines to ensure completion

within defined CAPEX budgets and quality standards.

● Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for timely project

implementation.

CAPEX & OPEX Management

● Prepare and support evaluation of CAPEX proposals for new equipment, utility

modifications, plant expansion, and infrastructure upgrades.

● Track and report OPEX requirements related to project operations, ensuring

cost-effective utilization of resources.

Design Review & Technical Drawings

● Prepare and review engineering documents such as process flow diagrams (PFD),

P&IDs, equipment layouts, and GA drawings.

● Create and update AutoCAD drawings for project-related modifications and new

installations.

● Ensure engineering designs comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Project Documentation & Compliance

● Maintain project documentation such as URS, DQ, FAT/SAT reports, commissioning

protocols, and validation documentation.

● Support compliance with GMP, cGMP, and audit requirements for project-related

activities.

● Ensure adherence to EHS guidelines during project execution.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

● Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Safety, and Procurement teams to

ensure seamless project execution.

● Liaise with external consultants, vendors, and contractors for equipment selection,

project planning, and installation.

Process & Operational Support

● Provide engineering support during equipment installation, commissioning, and

troubleshooting.

● Assist in optimizing layouts, equipment positioning, and utility planning to improve

operational efficiency.

Qualifications Required:

● B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering (mandatory)

Experience Required:

● 4–5 years of relevant experience in API Bulk Drug / Chemical / Engineering Projects.

Skills:

● Strong knowledge of project engineering and equipment installation

● Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)

● Understanding of CAPEX & OPEX planning

● Knowledge of cGMP, process safety, and regulatory guidelines

● Good analytical and problem-solving ability

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills

● Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
