Academic Affairs Teacher
About the role
Hanlin International Education Pte. Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Academic Affairs Teacher to join our team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic success and overall development of our diverse student body.
What you'll be doing
1 Full-Process Course Management
Formulate semester/short-term course plans based on the institution’s teaching orientation and students’ needs, clarifying the curriculum system, teaching formats (online/offline), and class hour allocation; Oversee course scheduling: coordinate instructors’ availability, match teaching venues (or online platforms), develop detailed class timetables, and update them to students, instructors, and the student success team in a timely manner; Respond to course changes: in cases such as temporary instructor adjustments or changes in student numbers, promptly optimize the timetable and notify all relevant parties to ensure the smooth operation of courses.
2 Student Academic Affairs
Service Take charge of the full student enrollment process: assist in course consultation coordination, registration information recording, fee verification, and contract/agreement signing; Handle follow-up student procedures: process requests for course withdrawal, transfer, and renewal in accordance with the institution’s rules, and update student files simultaneously;
Answer students’ and parents’ inquiries: provide timely and accurate communication and feedback on
academic-related issues such as course arrangements, class requirements, and academic progress.
3 Teaching Resource and Logistics Support
Manage teaching materials in an integrated manner:
purchase and print teaching materials, workbooks, and other resources based on course needs, distribute them to students and instructors according to the teaching schedule, and collect and archive them after the courses; Ensure the operation of teaching equipment: inspect and maintain audio-visual equipment, desks, and chairs in offline classrooms, test the stability of online teaching platforms, and eliminate technical faults in advance; Assist instructors in teaching preparation: cooperate with instructors to prepare teaching aids, transmit courseware, and prepare student attendance sheets to ensure the smooth progress ofin-class teaching.
4 Teaching Quality Supervision and Assessment Coordination
Track the implementation of teaching plans: regularly check instructors’ teaching progress, conduct random inspections of classroom teaching (e.g., attending classes, collecting students’ feedback on teaching), and promptly identify and coordinate the resolution of teaching issues; Oversee assessment organization: arrange mid-term/final
exams, phased evaluations, etc., and be responsible for examination room arrangement, test paper printing and distribution, and invigilator coordination; Compile teaching quality data: organize students’
assessment results and classroom feedback, form teaching quality reports, and provide a basis for curriculum optimization.
5 Data Statistics and File Management
Preserve student academic files: record students’ registration information, attendance, homework submission, and assessment results, and establish complete student academic files; Conduct statistics on core academic data: regularly calculate indicators such as course attendance rate, student retention rate, and course completion rate, and form data reports; Support operational decision-making: synchronize academic data to the institution’s operation team to provide data support for curriculum adjustments and enrollment strategy optimization.
6 Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Collaborate with the student success team: synchronize students’ course information and abnormal attendance, and cooperate with student success managers to follow up on students’ learning issues;
Connect with the marketing and enrollment team: provide information such as course arrangements and enrollment procedures, and assist in answering academic-related inquiries during enrollment consultations;
Link with the instructor team: feedback students’ needs and teaching suggestions, and coordinate instructors to participate in teaching seminars and curriculum refinement activities.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a student services or academic affairs role
Strong knowledge of curriculum development and assessment methods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and parents
Ability to create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
Adaptability and a willingness to embrace new teaching techniques and technologies
Strong organisational and time management skill
