Account Development Manager - Datacenter

This role focuses on driving new business growth within the datacenter sector by identifying, engaging, and converting strategic prospects into long-term customers. You will operate at the intersection of industrial technology, software, and infrastructure solutions, helping clients improve performance, scalability, and operational efficiency. The position requires a strong consultative sales approach, with the ability to build relationships across technical and executive stakeholders in complex organizations. You will develop tailored value propositions that address customer needs while aligning with commercial objectives. Working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, you will collaborate closely with internal experts to design and deliver integrated solutions. Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute account acquisition strategies to identify new datacenter customers and generate sustainable revenue growth.
- Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across mid-market companies and multinational organizations.
- Lead customer engagements by preparing tailored presentations, defining objectives for sales interactions, and uncovering business needs through structured discovery.
- Configure and position integrated product and service solutions, coordinating with internal technical and commercial experts to meet client requirements.
- Negotiate commercial agreements within defined parameters and ensure alignment with organizational pricing and policy standards.
- Represent the organization at industry events and develop a strong professional network to enhance market presence and intelligence gathering.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technology developments, and regulatory standards relevant to industrial automation and datacenter markets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in technology sales, ideally involving IoT, IIoT, software, or subscription-based business models.
- Proven experience selling into datacenter environments and engaging senior-level stakeholders including CxO and technical leadership.
- Strong understanding of Industry 4.0, industrial automation, and digital transformation technologies.
- Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in complex B2B environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% across customer sites.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
