Summary of Position:
The Account Executive position is responsible for managing marketing campaigns and keeping the project work on time and on budget. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
- Planning, executing, and closing out assigned marketing promotions, including budget reconciliation and post-program analysis (scorecards and lessons learned).
- Developing and managing project timelines, proactively communicating any potential delays.
- Securing necessary purchase orders and reviewing vendor statements of work (SOWs) for accuracy and adherence to established guidelines.
- Collaborating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless program execution, compliance with legal and policy requirements, and efficient workflows.
- Identifying and recommending process improvements to reduce cycle times and increase efficiency.
- Fulfilling internal requests and delivering assets promptly and thoroughly.
- Leading the artwork approval process, acting as the primary point of contact and providing clear, concise feedback to creative agencies.
- Managing artwork routing and approvals through the copy clearance system, liaising with relevant stakeholders (Regulatory, Legal, Brand, etc.).
- Facilitating alignment on artwork between Sales and Brand teams, including organizing calls and meetings as needed.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Sales and Brand teams through regular communication (e.g., weekly conference calls, face-to-face meetings).
- Leading weekly conference calls with the Retail Sales Team.
- Attending regular status meetings.
- Continuously developing expertise in assigned promotion areas and contributing to the development and refinement of processes and procedures.
- Maintaining strong performance metrics.

- Preferred, but not required: Bachelor’s in Business or Communication a 2.8+ GPA from four-year college or university; or Minimum 18 months of applicable business experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; as well as operate internal, online systems
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to be client facing
- Ability to mentor, grow and work harmoniously as part of a larger team
- Ability to do intermediate-level math (calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages)
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to problem solve
- Effectively utilizes staff including delegating as appropriate
- Ability to manage healthy business processes
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel. Typing skills should be a minimum of 55 wpm
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
