Account Executive - Staking
You will own the full sales cycle for staking customers, from initial outreach through closing, renewal, and expansion. You will manage end-to-end launches of validator ecosystems, handling scoping, commercial negotiation, delegation activation, and go-to-market execution. You will identify and engage institutional holders and ecosystem leads, track chain launches and protocol developments to find early opportunities, and collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success to close complex deals and retain accounts.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, closing, renewing, and expanding partnerships with blockchain foundations and ecosystem teams
- Manage end-to-end launches of new validator ecosystems, including scoping, commercial negotiation, delegation activation, and go-to-market execution
- Identify and engage institutional holders and ecosystem leads who need staking infrastructure and validator partnerships
- Track new chain launches, protocol developments, and market shifts to find early opportunities
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success to close complex deals and retain accounts
Requirements
- 3–5 years in sales or business development with proven quota attainment, deal size, and account growth
- Deep knowledge of the crypto ecosystem and how capital moves across protocols
- 1+ year of staking-specific business development or sales experience (validators, liquid staking protocols, or institutional staking infrastructure)
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success on complex deals
- Experience using AI tools for prospecting, call preparation, and deal intelligence
- Legal right to work in the United States at the time of application
- Nice-to-have: Based in New York with ability to travel for partner meetings and events
- Nice-to-have: Existing network across validator operators, L1/L2 foundations, or institutional staking teams
