Role Title: Account Management Intern (Energy, Telecom & Travel Sectors, EMEA)

BU/Segment: Business Unit, IGM

Summary of the role:

We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Intern to join our Client & Account Management team, supporting strategic clients across the Energy & Utilities, Telecom, and Travel, Transportation & Logistics (TTL) sectors in EMEA.

This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in client relationship management, business development, strategic account support, and digital transformation services within a global consulting and technology environment.

Working closely with senior account leaders, solution teams, and delivery specialists, you will support initiatives that help clients improve business performance through Data, AI, Analytics, Digital Engineering, and Operations solutions. You will gain exposure to large enterprise accounts, stakeholder engagement, sales operations, and cross-functional collaboration while developing valuable commercial and consulting skills.

This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to build experience in account management, consulting, technology services, or business development within a fast-paced international organisation.

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

Account Management & Client Support

  • Support account managers in maintaining and growing strategic client relationships across key industry sectors.
  • Assist with preparing client presentations, meeting materials, account reports, and status updates.
  • Help coordinate communications between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in client meetings and take ownership of follow-up actions where appropriate.

Business Development & Market Research

  • Conduct research into industry trends, emerging technologies, competitors, and market opportunities.
  • Support the identification of new business opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Assist in developing account plans, proposals, and business development materials.
  • Contribute to pipeline tracking and sales support activities using CRM tools such as Salesforce.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with teams across Operations, Analytics, Technology, Digital Engineering, and Consulting to support client initiatives.
  • Assist in coordinating internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of client requirements.
  • Gain exposure to solution development and integrated service offerings across data, analytics, AI, and operational services.

Reporting & Commercial Support

  • Support account reporting activities, including tracking revenue forecasts, deliverables, and project milestones.
  • Help maintain accurate account information, documentation, and CRM records.
  • Assist with analysing account performance metrics and preparing internal updates for leadership teams.

Administrative & Contract Support

  • Assist with client administrative requests, including documentation updates, meeting coordination, and contract tracking.
  • Support internal governance and account management processes to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:

  • Currently studying towards or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Technology, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in account management, consulting, business development, or technology services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence working in a professional environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret information and present insights clearly.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across teams and managing multiple priorities.
  • Interest in digital transformation, analytics, AI, cloud technologies, or consulting is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
