Account Manager (Carrier Business)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the carrier business develop and sales in local market.
  • Drive end-to-end sales engagement, including opportunity identification, solution positioning, commercial negotiations, contract closure, and revenue realization.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across sales, solution, delivery, legal, finance, and supply chain functions to ensure timely and successful execution of customer projects.
  • Lead responses to RFIs/RFPs and procurement activities, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Responsible for customer relationship development and management.
  • Collaborate with various practices and functions to ensure local alignment with region / global strategies.
  • Ensuring effective and efficient deployment of the Sales Process as defined within the Huawei overall Business Process.
  • Developing the long-term business with the customer by building and maintaining key relationships and trust as well as identifying strategic partnerships for profitable business opportunities based on long/short term services delivery.
  • To collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ team


Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunications Engineering, Business Administration, Science, or other relevant.
  • At least 4–6 years of sales, business development, or account management experience within the ICT or telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record in managing strategic customer accounts, driving sales growth, and delivering successful business outcomes.
  • Strong customer and partner management capabilities, with cross-functional experience in business strategy and account management.
  • Ability to analyze sales performance metrics, strong negotiation skills, and proven capability to build/maintain long-term customer relationships, with specific experience in ICT customer engagement.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with senior-level decision-makers.
  • This role may require business travel to other countries depending on business needs.
  • Strong strategic thinking, operational excellence, and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required to ensure effective communication with the Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts, and customers based in China.
