Job Title
Account ManagerAbout the role:
You will serve as the primary point of contact for our merchant clients, ensuring they receive outstanding support and guidance for all merchant processing products and services. Your responsibilities will include managing client relationships, addressing inquiries, providing technical assistance, and proactively resolving issues to maximize client satisfaction. This is an elevated position within Fiserv, supporting our most visible clients. Intellectual curiosity and the desire of a client-first mindset is a must.
What you’ll do:
- Build and nurture strong operational relationships with clients through regular communication via video, phone, email, and occasional in-person meetings.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on all merchant processing products, troubleshooting issues and guiding clients through solutions to optimize their use of our services.
- Monitor client accounts and identify opportunities to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to address and resolve client concerns, participate in incident response efforts, and contribute to overall process improvement.
- Maintain accurate client records, update client profiles and collaborate with Finance regarding internal audits.
- Prepare and deliver routine reports on client activity, issue resolution, and overall account health.
- Strong organizational skills with the understanding that the role requires to pivot quickly based on shifting priorities.
Experience you will need to have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in advanced client support / customer service roles.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or finance.
- Experience with project management and enterprise-level issue resolution.
- Experience in the payments or merchant processing industry.
- Preferred experience related to financial technologies, SaaS support, client portfolio management.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.

How you'll work:
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Salary Range:
$47,100.00-$73,600.00These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
