Account Manager – Food & Beverage | Field Sales & Technical Service (Sanitation Solutions)

Join Ecolab’s Food & Beverage team as an Account Manager, where you will combine field-based technical service and commercial responsibility to support food, beverage, and dairy customers. This role focuses on driving sales growth while delivering sanitation and operational improvements directly in plant environments.

What You Will Do:

  • Work directly in food and beverage manufacturing plants, ensuring sanitation, product quality, and operational efficiency

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and account plans to grow existing and new customers

  • Provide technical consultation and troubleshooting on-site, including sanitation programs, SOPs, and process improvements

  • Manage chemical applications, equipment performance, and inventory

  • Deliver training to plant personnel on sanitation and safety practices

  • Build strong relationships with plant managers, QA, and operations teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, or related field

  • Experience working in industrial or plant environments (preferred / strong advantage)

    Proficient in English at an intermediate to advanced level Proficient in English at an intermediate to advanced level
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (for technical reports and inventory control)

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license (B1) with an acceptable driving record

  • Basic mechanical skills – for example, using a drill to install a soap dispenser

  • Willingness and ability to travel within the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM); may be required to be on call outside regular working hours and on weekends when necessary

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in:

    • Technical sales or

    • Food & Beverage manufacturing / plant operations

  • Immigration sponsorship to work in the country is not available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to sell value-added products to customers

  • Aptitude and confidence to engage with large national and multinational clients

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
