Healia Health Account Manager 🚀
As an Account Manager at Healia Health, you will own a portfolio of business clients and play a key role in helping employers maximize the value of their healthcare benefits programs. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor who builds strong client relationships, helps organizations achieve their benefits goals, and identifies opportunities to grow each partnership through up-sell opportunities. This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful outcomes for clients while contributing directly to Healia’s growth and mission. You’ll be measured on both retaining and expanding your book of business and will have significant ownership over the success of your accounts. This is a full-time, in-office role (5 days/week) based in Columbus, OH.
✅ Your responsibilities will include...
- Relationship Building: Create and nurture deep relationships with key stakeholders at client companies, positioning yourself as a strategic partner who understands their benefits goals and how Healia can advance them
- Client Engagement: Run a regular cadence of business reviews and check-ins throughout the year to reinforce value, deepen relationships, and surface expansion opportunities
- Cross-Sell: Proactively identify, pitch, and close opportunities to grow each account — additional products, plan enhancements, and expanded enrollment — within your portfolio
- Renewals & Retention: Own the renewal process for your book of business, monitor account health metrics to spot at-risk accounts early, and execute action plans that protect and grow revenue
- Account Growth Strategy: Develop and execute account-level growth plans with clear expansion targets, prioritizing the accounts with the most upside
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the back-office/client operations, Claims, Product, and Engineering teams — routing support and service needs to the appropriate owners while advocating for your clients and championing the changes that drive retention and growth
- Forecasting & Pipeline: Maintain an accurate view of your expansion pipeline and renewal outlook, and forecast against your targets
- Performance Goals: Meet or exceed retention and account-growth targets, balancing the dual mandate of client satisfaction and revenue expansion
🚀 You'll be successful in this role if you...
- Have 3+ years of experience in account management, client success, or strategic client-facing roles, ideally carrying a revenue, retention, or expansion target
- Have a track record of identifying and closing growth opportunities within existing accounts (cross-sell, renewals)
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply and make a persuasive case
- Bring a scrappy, get-it-done mindset. You can independently create and customize slides, proposals, and collateral on tight timelines, tailoring the message to each client without heavy lift from other teams
- Are comfortable with consultative selling, negotiation, and navigating multi-stakeholder buying decisions
- Have a data-driven approach to account management, with the ability to analyze metrics and translate insights into growth and retention actions
- Excel at problem solving, with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity, identify root causes, and drive outcomes
- Are a natural relationship builder who genuinely enjoys working with clients and helping them succeed
