Account Manager

We are seeking a bilingual Account Manager to join our dynamic Commercial team to service and manage existing client relationships, managing both English- and Mandarin-speaking clients.
As an Account Manager, you are responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing, and managing sales deals, generating maximum revenue for the Company.
This role is ideal for a sales-driven professional with strong communication skills in English. The ability to communicate fluently in Mandarin will be highly regarded, as it is beneficial when handling Mandarin-speaking clients within a diverse portfolio.

Job Scope:

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Confidently sell JCDecaux advertising solutions (digital, static and experiential) to existing and new clients.

  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.

  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, cold calls, meetings and presentations.

Account Management & Client Service

  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and media agencies, acting as their primary contact for JCDecaux advertising.

  • Understand client business objectives and propose tailored advertising solutions that deliver measurable value.

  • Provide best-in-class post‑sales service, ensuring timely follow‑up, reporting and issue resolution.

Client Presentations & Proposals

  • Conduct persuasive sales presentations and pitches in English; the ability to present and discuss proposals in Mandarin with Mandarin‑speaking clients is highly valued.

  • Prepare sales proposals, media plans and pricing, and negotiate effectively to close deals.

Campaign & Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate booking, smooth execution and high-quality delivery of campaigns.

  • Take ownership of client briefs from end to end: clarifying objectives, coordinating internal inputs, and delivering on agreed timelines.

Market & Competitor Insight

  • Develop and maintain an in‑depth understanding of the OOH and broader advertising landscape.

  • Monitor competitor activities, client trends and industry developments to identify new opportunities and inform sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Media or a related discipline.

  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales or account management (e.g. media, advertising, marketing services, or other consultative sales), with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English, both written and spoken.

  • Ability to build rapport quickly, listen well, and translate client needs into actionable solutions.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint (for client decks) and Excel (for basic analysis, proposals and reporting).

  • Business-level proficiency in Mandarin (spoken) to comfortably engage Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

  • Prior experience in media, advertising, marketing, or OOH sales.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, able to interpret numbers and performance data and turn them into concrete actions.

  • Demonstrated ability to: Build and manage prospect lists, Develop and execute sales strategies to win new clients, Negotiate and close deals independently.

  • A collaborative, team-focused mindset with the drive to contribute to overall team sales targets.
