About the role
The Sales Consultant / Account Manager is responsible for managing a small portfolio of existing clients while driving new business growth within an assigned geographic region.
The primary focus of the role is to expand Reflex’s footprint in the region through new logo acquisition, cross-sell, and upsell of Reflex’s full ICT service offering, while ensuring existing clients receive a high standard of commercial and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Growth & New Business Development (Primary Focus)
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region
- Build and maintain a strong regional pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and partnerships
- Position Reflex’s service portfolio, including:
- Advanced Networking
- Unified Communications
- Cloud Computing
- Workplace Management
- Managed Cybersecurity
- Licensing
- Advanced Networking
- Engage decision-makers across SME and mid-market clients
- Own opportunities from first engagement through to deal closure
Account Management (Secondary Focus)
- Manage a small portfolio of existing clients within the region
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Manage renewals, contract adjustments, and pricing reviews
- Ensure smooth engagement with Service Delivery and support teams
Relationship Building & Market Presence
- Develop strong local market knowledge and visibility
- Attend regional business forums, events, and networking sessions
- Build strategic relationships with vendors, partners, and influencers in the region
- Act as a brand ambassador for Reflex in the regional market
Internal Collaboration & Governance
- Work closely with pre-Sales, FCIOs, and Service Delivery teams
- Ensure clean handovers for newly won clients
- Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline updates, and forecasts
- Adhere to Reflex’s sales processes and governance standards
Key Performance Indicators
- New revenue growth in the region
- New logo acquisition
- Regional pipeline value and coverage
- Revenue growth within assigned accounts
- Forecast accuracy and CRM compliance
Required Experience & Skills
- National Senior Certificate
- 3–5 years' experience in ICT sales or account management, preferably in an MSP environment
- Proven ability to develop business within a defined geographic area
- Exposure to selling one or more of the following:
- Networking, Cloud, UC, Cybersecurity, Workplace, or Licensing
