Account Manager

This role is for someone who's ready for the next step in account management. You've built a solid foundation, and now you're ready to take ownership of your own portfolio and grow it over time.

Some days you'll run structured business reviews. Other days you'll use data, CRM insights, and automated workflows to spot opportunities, manage renewals, and prioritise where to spend your time. And when a conversation matters, you'll pick up the phone. We believe good systems create efficiency, but good conversations move deals forward.

You enjoy building relationships but don't rely on manual follow-up to manage your business. You use data, systems, and automation to stay ahead of renewals, spot risk early, and focus your time where it has the biggest impact.

What you’ll do

  • Grow a portfolio of existing customers (upsell, expand, renew, increase price)

  • Manage a predictable renewal and expansion pipeline using CRM insights, customer signals, and automated workflows

  • Run business reviews with customers (incl. HR leadership and execs)

  • Call, follow up, chase, and re-engage customers until you get traction

  • Navigate complex buying groups (L&D, HR, IT, procurement)

What good looks like

  • Month 3: you know your customers and how they buy, and where the biggest opportunities and risks sit in your portfolio

  • Month 6: you’ve closed your first full platform deal on your own, and built a consistent rhythm for managing renewals and expansion opportunities

  • Month 9: you’re hitting quota from your own book of business, with a clear view of what's coming, what's at risk, and where to focus next

You’re not guessing anymore. You follow the sales process. You know where every deal stands, every renewal is headed, and what needs your attention.

And yes, your number matters. This is a revenue role.

Must-haves

  • You’re fluent in German and English, and comfortable working across UK and German-speaking markets

  • You’ve sold something before (SaaS helps, but not required)

  • You're comfortable using CRM systems and data to manage renewals, prioritise your accounts, and spot risk early. You know when to let the system do the work and when to step in yourself.

  • You understand “land and expand” and how accounts grow over time

  • You’re comfortable calling customers and driving the conversation forward

  • You’re comfortable talking to both hands-on users and top-level buyers

  • You care about results, and you follow a structured sales methodology (e.g. MEDDPICC)
