Account Receivables Clerk
Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for supporting the AR team in managing day-to-day receivables operations across a global client base. This role involves high-volume email and phone communication with clients, accurate data entry and maintenance of client profiles in NetSuite, and applying payments across multiple accounts and currencies. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of accounts receivable experience and demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This is a hybrid position out of our Mumbai office. The ideal candidate will be able to work GMT time zone.
What You’ll Do:
- Managing high-volume email communications across five shared inboxes to ensure timely global client coverage
- Conducting high-volume outbound calls to clients to follow up on outstanding balances and facilitate payment collections
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records through high-level data entry in NetSuite, including the addition and ongoing updating of client profiles
- Applying payments received from the bank across multiple accounts and currencies, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation
- Managing the full refund process, including initiating client refunds, tracking refund status, and coordinating closely with the Vendor Payables team through to resolution
What You Have:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounts receivables
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Netsuite, SAP)
