We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Thailand, working at the Bangkok Office focuses on daily accounting transactions and tax with the following core duties

Job Description

Daily Accounting Operations:

Payments

Responsible for recording purchase invoices, performing bank reconciliations, and preparing receiving, journal, and payment vouchers.

Tax Compliance:

Preparing and submitting tax returns on time, including VAT, PND.3, 53, 54, and PP.36, as well as issuing withholding tax certificates.

Billing and Documentation:

Issuing the invoices and accrued income transactions, uploading documents to the Approval system.

Month-End & Year-End Closing:

Assisting the Senior Accountant with month-end and year-end closing.

Banking Support:

Acting as a backup maker in the e-banking system for all Thailand entity payments

Required Skills and Competencies

REQUIRED PROFILE

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.

Experience:

- Previous experience in handling daily AP, AR, GL transactions and tax filings

- Familiarity with Thai tax regulations, including VAT and various Withholding Tax types (PND.3, 53, 54, and PP.36).

Software Proficiency:

- Computer literacy is required for MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and accounting systems

- Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software is preferable

- Ability to use automated approval systems such as Approval Max.

- Experience with e-banking platforms, specifically in payments preparation.

Soft Skills & Competencies

- Highly detail-oriented

- Time Management: Proven ability to meet strict deadlines for tax submissions and period-end closings.

- Adaptability: Willingness to perform ad-hoc assignments as required by the Senior Accountant or management.

- Work well under pressure.
