We are seeking a detail\- oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliation, and supporting month\-end and year\-end closing processes.

This role requires a proactive professional with strong analytical skills, an excellent command of English, and hands\-on experience using Xero and advanced Excel functions.

Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/p>- Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS while ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards, internal policies, and statutory requirements.
<\/li> - Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including timely processing of invoices, reimbursements, payments, customer billing, collections, credit control, and maintaining accurate aging reports with prompt reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies.
<\/li> - Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliation<\/b>, ensuring accuracy of cash and bank balances.
<\/li>- Manage payment cycles<\/b>, verify approvals, and process payments in multiple currencies if applicable.
<\/li>- Reconcile general ledger accounts and sub\-ledgers (AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll, etc.).
<\/li> - Prepare journal entries<\/b>, accruals, and prepayments.
<\/li>- Review trial balances and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.
<\/li> - Support the preparation of management reports and financial analysis.

Requirements<\/h3>- Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<\/b>
<\/li>- Solid knowledge and experience with IFRS standards<\/b> is required.
<\/li>- 2\-4 years<\/b> of progressive accounting experience, preferably in an international or multi\-entity environment.
<\/li>- Hands\-on experience with Xero<\/b>, QuickBooks<\/b>, or other cloud\-based accounting systems.
<\/li>- Strong understanding of AP/AR processes, reconciliation, and financial controls<\/b>.
