We are looking for a reliable and detail\-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day\-to\-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the organization\u2019s financial health and compliance.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>

  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Assist with month\-end and year\-end closing processes<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and financial policies<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Support audits by providing required documentation and reports<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Monitor expenses and identify cost\-saving opportunities<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Manage and monitor accounts receivable ledger<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure timely invoicing and accurate recording of transactions<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and support collection efforts<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Prepare regular aging reports and highlight overdue accounts<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure billing accuracy<\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    Qualifications & Requirements<\/span><\/b>
    <\/h3>
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 2\u20135 years of relevant accounting experience<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Good understanding of UAE VAT and compliance requirements<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong communication and follow\-up skills<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Applicant must be currently a Dubai resident<\/b><\/span>
      <\/b><\/li><\/ul>

      Preferred Skills<\/span><\/b>
      <\/h3>
      • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. MS Dynamics 365, <\/span>ZOHO or similar)<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Experience in IT Distribution<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Arabic native speaker<\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>
