Accountant (Full Set) - North Area (E-Commerce)

We are partnering with a growing Singapore-based e-commerce company to hire an Accountant to manage full-set accounts in-house and support day-to-day finance operations.

The Role

Reporting directly to the business owner, you will own the end-to-end accounting function and be a key pillar of the finance team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in clean books and works well independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments and bank reconciliations
• Handle invoicing, SOAs, aging reports, collections follow-up and supplier payments
• Reconcile e-commerce and marketplace settlements (e.g. Amazon, Shopee, Lazada)
• Perform month-end and year-end closing, prepare monthly management accounts with supporting schedules
• Prepare standalone and consolidated annual financial statements
• Prepare and file ECI and Corporate Income Tax returns, or coordinate with external tax agents where required
• Manage GST reporting and liaise with external auditors on statutory matters
• Process monthly payroll, CPF contributions, IR8A submissions and IR21 where applicable
• Provide light administrative and HR support including employee records, claims and vendor coordination

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field/ACCA, CPA or CA is an advantage
• Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on full-set accounting experience in Singapore
• Experience with GST reporting, audit schedules and payroll/CPF administration
• Familiarity with e-commerce or marketplace reconciliation is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or MYOB
• Strong written and spoken English and Mandarin as need to deal with Mandarin speaking stakeholders
• Detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable in a small, close-knit team
