Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>

General Accounting & Bookkeeping<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Maintain accurate general ledger entries\n in QuickBooks and iPoint.<\/span>
<\/li>
Reconcile bank and credit card statements\n monthly.<\/span>
<\/li>
Post and track journal entries and\n accruals.<\/span>
<\/li>
Prepare monthly financial reports\n including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.<\/span>

Accounts Payable & Receivable<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Manage vendor invoicing, payments, and\n purchase order compliance.<\/span>
<\/li>
Monitor and process customer billing and\n collections in a timely manner.<\/span>

Track retainage and manage outstanding\n balances.<\/span>

Job Costing & Project Accounting<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Ensure all project expenses (materials,\n labor, subcontractors) are accurately coded and allocated in iPoint.<\/span>
<\/li>
Track costs against budget and generate\n reports for project managers.<\/span>
<\/li>
Assist in preparing work\-in\-progress (WIP)\n reports and job profitability summaries.<\/span>

Payroll & Expense Management<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Oversee bi\-weekly payroll submission and\n review for accuracy.<\/span>
<\/li>
Process employee reimbursements and ensure\n policy compliance.<\/span>
<\/li>
Manage and track sales commissions in\n coordination with sales leadership.<\/span>

Cash Management<\/span><\/b>

Monitor daily cash balances, forecast\n short\-term needs, and alert leadership to variances.<\/span>

Assist in cash flow planning and reserve\n management.<\/span>

Utilize iPoint ERP system to manage job\n costing, time tracking, and accounting integration.<\/span>

Push accounting data from iPoint into\n QuickBooks for consolidated reporting.<\/span>

Organize and maintain centralized\n Excel/SharePoint files for key financial metrics and KPIs.<\/span>

The term work\-in\-progress<\/i> (WIP) is a\nproduction and supply\-chain management term describing partially finished goods\nawaiting completion. WIP refers to the raw materials, labor, and overhead costs\nincurred for products that are at various stages of the production process. WIP\nis a component of the inventory asset account on the balance sheet. These costs\nare subsequently transferred to the finished goods account and eventually to cost\nof sales.<\/span>

WIPs are one of the components on a company's balance sheet.\nThe WIP figure reflects only the value of those products in some intermediate\nproduction stage. This excludes the value of raw materials not yet incorporated\ninto an item for sale. The WIP figure also excludes the value of finished\nproducts being held as inventory in anticipation of future sales.<\/span>

Education:<\/span><\/b> Bachelor\u2019s degree\n in accounting, Finance, or related field.<\/span>

Experience:<\/span><\/b> 3+ years of\n hands\-on accounting experience (preferably in construction, AV\n integration, or project\-based industries).<\/span>

Software\n Proficiency:<\/span><\/b> Must have strong QuickBooks experience; familiarity with iPoint or similar\n ERP/project accounting systems is a plus.<\/span>

Technical\n Skills:<\/span><\/b> Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), job costing, and\n reconciliations.<\/span>

Attention\n to Detail:<\/span><\/b> High accuracy in transaction entry and financial reporting.<\/span>
