Job Title: Accountant
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Duration: 3+ months
Description:
- Ensure internal compliance with established accounting policies and procedures for CapEx projects.
- Identify and report variances to budgets in projects.
- Gather information and update project accounting system.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents. Track payments through entire processing cycle.
- Create commitments and attach to invoices in project accounting system.
- Set up new projects in the project system.
- Prepare Journal Entries, perform reconciliations from system to GL.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Required Experience:
- Project Accounting or Cost Accounting experience, Sage/Timberline, Excel, Outlook
Desired Experience:
- Infinium, Stratton Warren, Ariba
