Accountant

Job Overview:

Analyse financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other financial activities within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, analyse, and interpret statistical and financial information to evaluate operating results in terms of profitability and performance to budget.
• Provide the organization and its management with the financial and operating information necessary to guide business decisions.
• Assist operational management in preparation of annual budget
• Comply with all corporate reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct research of financial data and review accounting transactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics
• Minimum 3 year’s of accounting experience, preferably within international companies
• CPA Certification
• Oil and gas experience will be advantageous

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Turkish tax/accounting regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced MS Excel skills
• Proficiency in Zirwe
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving
• Ability to work and interact with personnel at all levels withing the organization
• Fluency in English and Turkish
