Accounting Consultant – Fund & SPV Services

Stockholm, Sweden

Permanent, full time – Monday to Friday

Hybrid after probation (3 days office: 2 days home)

We are currently looking for an accounting professional with several years of experience in accounting and financial reporting who is ready to take the next step in their career. We are looking for someone who values a role where teamwork, delivery, client interaction and the opportunity to work broadly in an international environment are central parts of the job.

About the role

As an Accounting Consultant within our Fund Services team, you will be responsible for supporting client entities together with your team. Working closely with clients and colleagues across the business, you will serve as our clients’ local expert on matters primarily relating to accounting, financial reporting and the ongoing administration of their structures. The role requires someone who is comfortable taking ownership of their work and driving deliverables independently, while also valuing collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

What sets CSC and this role apart is the opportunity to work closely with both Swedish and international clients in a broad and varied accounting role. While the role sits within Fund Services, the initial focus will primarily be on supporting a key client in the financial services sector, with work centred around accounting, reporting and administration for the client’s corporate structure. As part of a growing and evolving team, you should be comfortable with a role where responsibilities may develop over time, including supporting broader Fund Services activities as client needs and team priorities evolve.

The role combines accounting, financial reporting and client interaction, with exposure to both Swedish and international structures, as well as involvement in payment and cash management processes and coordination with auditors and other external stakeholders.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Ongoing accounting, reconciliations, payment processing, VAT reporting and cash management activities.

  • Month-end and year-end closing processes, financial reporting and preparation of annual accounts.

  • Co-ordination of audits and ongoing communication with clients, auditors and other stakeholders.

  • Supporting reporting to group functions and contributing to high-quality client deliverables.

  • Participation in internal projects, process improvements and development initiatives.

Who are you?

You are sharp, responsible and detail-oriented, with a pragmatic and hands-on approach. You are comfortable working close to the accounting and reporting process, while also taking ownership of your deliverables. You are structured, able to manage multiple priorities and enjoy collaborating with others in a dynamic environment. You take pride in delivering high-quality work, building trusted relationships and contributing to a positive team environment. We also value curiosity and a mindset focused on improving processes and deliverables.

  • A degree in accounting, business administration or equivalent.

  • Fluency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

  • +5 years of relevant experience within accounting and financial reporting.

  • Hands-on experience in day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end and year-end closing processes and financial reporting.

  • Good accounting understanding and experience working with reconciliations, period-end close and reporting.

  • Good Excel skills and a genuine interest in accounting systems and digital tools.

  • Experience from Visma Business NXT is an advantage, but not a requirement.

  • Experience from consolidated reporting environments and occasional IFRS exposure is considered an advantage.

  • Experience from an international company, consultancy environment or fund administration is considered an advantage.

What do we offer?

  • Bright, attractive offices in a central location high up in one of the Hötorget towers in Stockholm.

  • Competitive employment terms and generous benefits, such as a SEK 5,000 wellness allowance, SL travel card or bicycle benefit, pension and private health insurance.

  • A strong team spirit and a company that cares about its employees.

  • An international organization with excellent development opportunities.

The salary range for this specific role will be SEK 480,000 – SEK 600,000 gross per year. The final salary will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, and role scope, in line with our objective and gender-neutral compensation framework.
