Goddards Shipping (Barbados) Ltd., a Subsidiary of Goddard Enterprises Limited, is seeking to recruit a self-motivated individual for the position of Accounts Clerk.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To provide support to the Accountant during the month-end closing process and with the preparation of tax reports.
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly reports for shipping principals.
  • To assist with the accounts receivable process while ensuring accuracy of customer invoices.
  • Provide support with the annual audit process.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills required:

  • An Associate Degree in Accounting, Business or Management.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in the accounting field.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize appropriately and manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent focus, attention to detail and follow-through skills.
  • Must be able to work according to flexible work schedules.
