Accounts Executive - Shipping

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage financial transactions and prepare vessel disbursements

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data

• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial goals

• Stay updated on accounting principles and regulations

• Manage projects, billing and cost analysis and work on deadlines and perform on allocated KPI’s under manager / supervisor.

• Shipping agency experience & financial background will be preferred.

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance (Shipping, Marine related preferred)

• ACCA / Financial degree required, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office & Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with positive “can do” attitude.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards

• Overseas experience and managing small teams required (People management Skills)

• Ability to work on deadlines / project deadlines including tight project deadlines.
