Job Summary

Manage core accounting functions to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting within the construction industry, supporting operational and financial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain accurate financial transactions and vendor/customer relationships
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Oversee fixed assets management to track asset acquisition, depreciation, and disposal for accurate reporting
  • Process staff reimbursements promptly to support employee expense claims and maintain compliance
  • Handle petty cash and deposits to ensure proper cash flow management and record keeping
  • Execute month-end closing activities to finalize accounts and prepare for financial reporting
  • Prepare and compile accurate financial reports to support management decision-making
  • Complete other ad-hoc accounting tasks as assigned to support the finance team and business needs

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in the construction industry
  • Diploma in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
  • Proficiency in SAP Accounting software
