Accounts Payable Oversight and Inventory Control Leader
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Oversight
Manage End-to-End P2P: Supervise vendor invoice matching (2-way matching), coding, routing, approvals, and disbursement schedules.
Resolve Vendor Exceptions: Act as the primary point of contact to resolve complex pricing, quantity, and billing discrepancies with suppliers.
Optimize Working Capital: Monitor aging reports and structure cash disbursements to take advantage of early-payment discounts.
Enforce Compliance Controls: Maintain rigorous 1099 reporting, tax compliance, internal audit paths, and SOX-aligned internal controls.
Inventory Control Leadership
Govern Inventory Accuracy: Lead physical counts, cycle-counting programs, and perpetual inventory reconciliations across all locations.
Analyze Variances: Track, investigate, and report material usage variances, scrap rates, and inventory shrinkage.
Co-ordinate Logistics: Oversee material receipts and inventory transfers between manufacturing hubs and data center deployment sites.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of experience managing accounts payable and inventory control within a hardware manufacturing environment.
Industry Acumen: Practical knowledge of solar components, raw metals, electronics manufacturing, or large-scale capital infrastructure projects.
Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and automated AP software (e.g., ZipHQ).
Core Competencies: High attention to detail, strong data analytics skills, and the agility to navigate a fast-paced, hardware startup environment.
