Accreditation Manager- Quality Assurance
Overview
Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. CMH's hospital facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. CMH also supports Central Maine Medical Group, a primary and specialty care practice organization. Other system services include the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, a regional trauma program, LifeFlight of Maine's southern Maine base, the Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center and other high-quality clinical services.
Responsibilities
Responsible for managing Bariatric related accreditation and regulatory programs; including Metabolic and Bariatrics Surgery (MBS), Metabolic and Bariatric Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP), Americal College of Surgeons (ACS), and American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). Ensure full compliance with all accreditation/regulatory policies and standards, develop continuous process improvement strategies to address any performance gaps, and streamline workflows across respective accreditation/regulatory program activities.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Bachelor Degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g. nursing, healthcare administration, public health, etc.)
2. Experience with change management / process improvement strategies
3. Project management and accreditation management experience
