Acoustics Engineering Program Manager, Microphone

EPMs are fearless organizers who are ready to work with the highly skilled engineering teams to identify and resolve potential pitfalls to the schedule and risks to the quality of the product. It is our responsibility to advocate for the best overall acoustic performance throughout the organization and drive a talented, passionate, experienced multi-functional team and external suppliers. We deliver best-in-class acoustic modules on schedule, facilitating risk management and communicating status and issues to the development team and Apple executives. We do this by remaining in touch with big picture issues. Minimum Qualifications BS degree EE/Physics required 5+ years of project management experience Experience in shipping high-volume products or collaborating with industry manufacturing partners Experience in either SemiConductor; MEMS; Microphone; Sensor technology and full product development lifecycle Preferred Qualifications A strong technical background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, advanced manufacturing, particularly in MEMS development and qualification experience, Audio ASIC development and qualification experience, or semiconductor assembly is preferred. Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with ability to collaborate and motivate team members. Strong cross functional coordination and project management skills. Understand and effectively manage rapid development cycles while remaining adaptable and composed in uncertain situations. Prioritize filtering and distilling relevant information for the appropriate audience. Demonstrate the ability to drive, multitask, and prioritize tasks while fostering a collaborative environment. Experience in driving international module or component design and manufacturing partners to execute development programs on schedules is essential.
