PLAN A is one of the strategic Aviva Group's projects, aiming to reduce number of data platforms, simplify actuarial reporting processes and limit number of models. The project also focuses on reviewing existing actuarial models, creating recommendations for model changes as well as implementing them.
The Plan A team provides comprehensive support in methodology analysis, model development and testing area for With-Profit products.
What will you be doing?
As a part of the Plan A team, you will be:
learning how With-Profit products are modelled and what type of information the models are using
creating analysis of existing actuarial models, focusing on modelling approaches, key features, model limitations and used input data
providing recommendations for possible model changes, both from methodology and technical design and development perspective
implementing changes into existing actuarial models or building new models
providing support to less experienced colleagues
ensuring the successful transformation between systems
What we're looking for?
Knowledge of life insurance products, gained through academic studies and actuarial experience, enabling effective understanding and analysis of life insurance product mechanisms
Experience in actuarial modelling (min. 1.5yrs)
Experience in coding in tools such as R, python, VBA
Proficiency in MS Excel
Good English language skills (working with English-speaking clients plus creating basic documentation in English)
Knowledge of Prophet Professional would be an asset, but not essential
Knowledge of Solvency II/IFRS17 metrics would be an asset
