Adaptive Planning & Workday Analyst

Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeThis role provides expertise in reporting, data analysis, and system administration to support decision-making and business objectives across regions including but not limited to North America, EO and QBE Capital. The position supports Workday Adaptive Planning and Reporting, while also managing Workday-related reporting and data analysis requests.Responsibilities:
- Deliver reporting and data analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decision-making
- Support administration and optimal use of Workday Adaptive Planning and Reporting for North America and EO; therefore, willing to work on a night shift
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders and Global Admins to deliver effective system solutions
- Manage Workday-related reporting and data analysis requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Translate business requirements into actionable insights and reporting outputs
- Support data requests by reviewing requirements, identifying appropriate data sources, and extracting relevant data for stakeholders
- Analyze, test, and manipulate data following established guidelines; escalate issues as needed
- Assist in ad hoc reporting and special projects, ensuring outputs align with business needs
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards with guidance from senior team members
- Document data processes, workflows, and analysis methodologies
- Apply basic statistical techniques to support data analysis
- Identify trends, maintain reporting frameworks, and enhance data-driven decision-making
- Proactively identify risks in People programs and support resolution efforts
- Engage stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities in existing processes
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to achieve desired outcomes
- Leverage AI tools to enhance data analysis, automate reporting, and generate insights
- Explore AI-driven opportunities for forecasting, efficiency, and predictive analytics
- Promote best practices in data governance, reporting, and responsible AI use
- Implement policies, programs, and directives aligned with management priorities
- Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating and reinforcing cultural values
Work Experience:
Necessary Work Experience includes:
- Moderate relevant experience.
Preferred Work Experience includes:
- Experience in Business Analyst/Reporting Analyst role, with Qlikview, Power BI, or Tableau experience.
- Experience in managing reports and data analytics projects.
- Business intelligence development experience in insurance or financial services.
Qualifications:
Necessary Qualifications include:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience: minimum of 3 years;
- Workday Systems knowledge
- Reporting Knowledge
- Microsoft tools knowledge – such as Microsoft Excel, Word,
- Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders with strong communication and presentation skills (written & verbal)
- Analytical skills and comfortable with numbers
Preferred Competencies/Skills:
- Financial Forecasting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Preferred understanding of HR processes, policies and regulations, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
- Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset, always seeking ways to enhance process
Preferred Knowledge
- Knowledge of Workday Reporting
- Knowledge of HR metrics
- Risk and responsibilities associated with managing confidential data
