Administrative Assistant

IMEG is growing, and we’d love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant in our Naperville, IL office. As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support for assigned engineering teams and completing day-to-day administrative tasks. Additionally, this position will demonstrate proficiency at using and reviewing IMEG standard document templates. This position will be expected to work within the team’s monetary budget as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations.

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing Administrative Support for Engineering Teams as assigned.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Follow and promote IMEG Standards
  • Assist assigned team and other teams as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of project/client, corporate, and employee matters
  • Work with engineering specifications
  • Attend and actively contribute to group meetings
  • Serve as back up for mail and telephone duties for the Receptionist as needed
  • Participate in team’s Administrative Team Advancement Program (TAP)
  • Arrange meetings, tasks, travel as needed for team/office
  • Other duties as assigned by employer

  • Ability to work with staff of all levels
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service orientation coupled with the ability to exhibit and maintain a positive attitude
  • Team player but also able to work on own initiative
  • Self-motivated and flexible

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum six months experience in administrative field required, familiarity with Engineering preferred
  • This position is NOT Eligible for sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

State of Illinois Salary Range: $56,000 - $69,000


Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
