Administrative Support Specialist

If selected at the GS-07 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity.

Provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Office of Chief Counsel, including day-to-day administrative needs, tracking suspense dates, office calendars, and scheduling meetings, etc.

Supports new employee onboarding by facilitating ID issuances, coordinating requests for office equipment.

Serves as a point of contact for both internal and external customers. Greets visitors and provide general office support and information. Ensure the office areas remain organized, professional, and properly maintained.

Assists with the processing of incoming and outgoing mail, maintains office supplies and inventory, and assists with the scheduling logistics for meetings and conferences.

Develops, maintains, and implements electronic and hard-copy records management processes under the oversight of the team leader. Organizes, indexes, files, retrieves, and disposes of records in accordance with approved record retention schedules.

Assists in preparing presentations, reports, and office communications. Prepare materials for briefings and takes meeting minutes.
