Admission Coordinator
Job Purpose
This incumbent is responsible for managing the end-to-end admission process for NCDOE’s UG and PG programs. This includes verifying student documents, coordinating application assessments, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with admission guidelines. The role also involves close coordination with the sales and academic teams to facilitate a smooth and efficient admission experience for prospective learners.
Key Responsibilities
Application Review & Eligibility Assessment: Review and evaluate applications for UG/PG programs, verify submitted documents, and determine applicant eligibility in line with defined admission criteria and guidelines.
Admissions Coordination: Serve as the key link between Learning Centres (LCs) and the Central Admissions Team to address admission-related concerns and ensure a smooth, efficient admission process.
Applicant Communication & Support: Act as the primary contact for applicants and LCs, providing accurate information on programs and policies, responding to queries received through the Student Support Centre, and keeping applicants informed on their admission status.
Administrative Processing: Handle requests related to validity extensions, program or centre changes, and student record updates in coordination with relevant departments to maintain data accuracy.
Data Management & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date applicant and admission records, and prepare periodic reports on admission trends, enrollment statistics, and applicant demographics.
Policy Compliance & Governance: Ensure all admission activities comply with institutional policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, and stay informed about best practices and policy changes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and the overall applicant experience.

Requirements- Education & work experience
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
3–5 years of relevant experience in admissions coordination, academic administration, or general administration, preferably in the education sector, with hands-on experience in managing admission-related processes and operational activities.
Familiarity with admission procedures, educational systems, student lifecycle management, and applicable regulatory requirements will be an added advantage.
