Admissions Officer - Nathan or Gold Coast
Key Responsibilities
Griffith International plays a vital role in connecting the University with the world. We support thousands of students from around the globe as they embark on their Griffith journey, from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
As an Admissions Officer, you’ll contribute to this mission by assessing international student applications and issuing offers to eligible applicants. Working closely with marketing teams, recruitment agents and pathway providers, you’ll ensure a high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused admissions process that supports Griffith’s international growth.
Here’s how you’ll make it matter:
- Manage end-to-end international admissions processes- from application assessment and offer generation to student matriculation.
- Conduct Genuine Student (GS) assessments in line with the Australian Government’s Simplified Student Visa Framework (SSVF).
- Provide timely and accurate advice to prospective students, agents, and internal stakeholders on admissions, entry requirements, and study options.
- Maintain strong working relationships across Griffith International and academic teams to deliver outstanding service.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, policies, and procedures to enhance the international student experience.
About You
You’ll hold a relevant degree and/or bring substantial administrative experience within international education in the higher education sector or an equivalent mix of skills and experience.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Sound knowledge of international admissions processes, compliance, and visa frameworks.
- A commitment to service excellence, continuous improvement, and integrity in everything you do.

We have both a continuing and a fixed term (till May 2027) opportunity available, both roles can be based at either Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) campuses. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations
Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary
HEW 5 – Base salary range - $82,415.66 - $92,456.55 +17% super. Full package range - $96,426.31 - $108,174.16.
