ADTS Engineer

TheADTS (Application Development Technical Service) engineer will conduct thedevelopment of advanced thermoplastic compounds and masterbatch solutions. Theideal candidate will have strong hands-on formulation experience, solid understandingof polymer processing, and the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally tobring high‑performance materials from concept to commercialization.
KeyResponsibilities:
· Interface with internal and external customersand stakeholders to plan and develop new products based on customer/marketrequirements and company objectives
· Formulate compounds to meet customers’requirements with respect to mechanical properties, electrical properties,flame resistance, weather resistance, aesthetic appearance, etc.
· Conduct necessary material testing andevaluation to support product development
· Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve technical problems,and provide technical guidance and support throughout the product lifecycle
· Explore new technologies and raw materials thatcan enhance product offerings to fulfill customer needs
· Create and maintain documentation including testingreports, and work instruction procedures for laboratory equipment
- Collaborate with QC and Production teams to support manufacturing trials, product scaling, and quality control processes
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years of industrial experience inproduct development of thermoplastic compounds or plastic masterbatches
· Knowledge of plastic formulation and hands-onexperience in polymer processing such as compounding, injection molding and extrusion
· Practical experience in polymeric materialanalysis including thermal and mechanical characterization
· Strong problem‑solving skills, with the abilityto work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
· Effective communication skills with all levelsof employment both verbally and in writing
