Advanced Launch Specialist

1. Support new pursuit BOM cost estimation

2. Responsible for holding program kickoff reviews with the rest of the GSM Team to outline key program deliverables

3. Report status of current production leverage opportunities, sourcing plans, carryover parts/ capacity, and raw material economic exposure

4. Work to identify and execute improvement opportunities when budget overages exist in the bill off materials

5. Manage launch reports, cost walks, and one paper summaries

6. Responsible for holding launch readiness reviews with the entire cross functional team, which would include identifying issues, assigning tasks and drive accountability

7. Manage a smooth transition from Advanced launch phase to production phase by ensuring plant buyer team is full supported

8. Responsible for supporting BorgWarner’s new technology products by identifying and driving new supplier technology

9. Responsible for driving early supplier onboarding for new programs

10. Exhibit overall discipline within GSM function

11. Organize VAVE workshop and drive VAVE implementation
