Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Data-Driven Process Engineer or Data-Driven Process Engineer Lead to join our high-performance Continuous improvement team for advanced control solutions for MMM at Honeywell. This role is critical in leveraging data analytics to optimize our mining processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Modeling:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and implement predictive models to forecast outcomes and support decision-making.

2. Process Optimization:

  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing process performance through the application of data-driven methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement strategies that improve operational efficiency.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior management and other departments.

3. Research and Innovation:

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data analytics and process engineering.
    Explore new approaches such as machine learning and artificial intelligence to apply to mining operations.

4. Project Management:

  • Manage projects focused on process improvements using data-driven insights, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of initiatives.

5. Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to team members on data analytics tools and techniques.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.


    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering or a related field, with a focus on data analytics and metallurgy
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, process optimization, and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Deep experience in the mining industry.
