Aerospace Auditor

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct 3rd party audits (AS 9100, AS 9110, AS 9120, IATF 16949, and other management system standards) in line with DNV philosophy

  • Review customer corrective actions and ensure timely closure

  • Document and report audit activities and results using internal applications/systems

  • Communicate with clients at all management levels and deliver accurate compliance assessments

  • Manage audit schedules and maintain effective customer engagement

  • Generate leads and support business development by identifying opportunities and collaborating with sales

  • Maintain and develop auditor qualifications, including scheme requirements and NACE code competencies

  • Support operational efficiency through proactive qualification management and audit readiness

  • Contribute to the development of a high-performing audit team

  • Conduct AS 9100, AS 9110, AS 9120 and/or IATF 16949 Training and internal auditor course

  • Provide sales support when required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Engineering, and other relevant courses

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management system audits (3rd party)

  • Valid and current certification in AS/EN 9100 (registered in OASIS), IATF 16949 and other ISO standards

  • Strong understanding of certification processes, audit planning (man-days, frequency, multi-site), and accreditation requirements

  • Strong communication skills in Korean and English

  • Proven ability to lead projects or teams and deliver high-quality results

  • Ability to manage multiple projects under competing priorities and timelines

  • Strong leadership and delegation skills with constructive feedback capability

  • Collaborative stakeholder (internal and external) management skills

  • Excellent work organization and proficiency in MS Office, applications and other systems

  • Ability to work in an international team environment

  • Willingness to travel within Korea and internationally
