AGV OPERATOR - Day Shift

Bongards Premium Cheese is looking for a dedicated, dynamic and experienced individual to perform as an AGV Operator in our Warehouse.

Job Duties

• Daily walk through of entire cooler to check for irregularities
• Complete daily start of shift checklist
• Ability to set up, change over, trouble shoot, reprogram and run the AGV’s
• Accurately record all needed information on appropriate forms
• Ensure that all product codes on cases are correct
• To work in a safe and proficient manner
• Communicate with incoming and outgoing shifts about any issues
• Perform sanitation duties as assigned to keep area neat and orderly
• Operate and Monitor the GEA Cooling System
• Learn ROSS, EMS, ATOM system and gain proficiency in each
• Learn to operate scissor lift
• Clear Flow rack and Location faults within EMS
• Operate AGV battery exchanger
• Replace beams, decking and Fix or replace AGV targets
• Clear out pallets in DC hospital area
• Be able to work as a team with pickers, robot room, shipping
• Must report all food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement
• All other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent Math and Reading skills
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines

• Ability to work independently on assigned duties
• Able to operate a stand up and sit down forklift
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Adaptable to both Cold and Warm weather environments
• Previous experience with Automated Guided Vehicles is a plus
• Previous CDL experience is a plus
• Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, other quality guidelines
• Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
• Flexible work schedule availability
• Able to spend extended periods of time standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs

Schedule:

• Day Shift 5:00am to 3:00pm Monday – Friday, some Saturdays
