SUMMARY

We are seeking a forward-thinking AI & Digital Innovation Specialist to help drive digital transformation across the entire organization. This role focuses on identifying, piloting, and implementing practical digital tools—including AI, machine learning, process automation, analytics, and workflow solutions—to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, strengthen decision-making, enhance customer and employee experiences, and support innovation across all departments.

As part of our digital transformation journey, the AI & Digital Innovation Specialist will partner with leaders and teams across operations, engineering, finance, human resources, sales, marketing, customer service, IT, and other business functions to identify high-impact opportunities and turn them into scalable, real-world applications that improve performance, collaboration, and business outcomes.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enterprise Digital Tool Integration: Evaluate, implement, and support emerging digital tools that improve workflows, collaboration, and productivity across departments.
  • AI Application: Collaborate with business leaders and functional teams to identify and deploy AI and automation solutions such as:
    • Workflow automation for repetitive administrative and operational tasks
    • Generative AI for content development, research support, knowledge management, and internal communications
    • Analytics and dashboards to improve visibility into performance, trends, and decision-making
    • Customer and employee support tools to enhance service quality and responsiveness
  • Innovation Pipeline: Create and maintain a digital innovation roadmap aligned with organizational priorities. Run pilot projects, measure outcomes, and scale successful solutions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison across departments to ensure coordinated adoption of digital solutions and consistent communication of priorities, risks, and opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze business processes across functions and identify opportunities to simplify work, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve quality through digital capabilities.
  • Data Strategy: Support sound data governance practices so information used across systems is accurate, accessible, secure, and useful for reporting and advanced analytics.
  • Compliance and Risk Awareness: In collaboration with appropriate teams, help ensure digital solutions align with company policies, security expectations, privacy requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Training & Change Management: Develop training materials, support user adoption, and help teams build confidence and capability with new technologies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The AI & Digital Innovation Specialist position has no direct reports and is not directly responsible for managing others, but may be asked to lead small, temporary cross-functional teams or project groups involving employees from multiple departments.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, engineering, operations, analytics, organizational development, or a related field
  • Master’s degree a plus
  • Certifications in AI, automation, analytics, project management, or cloud platforms are a plus
  • Training or certifications related to digital transformation, change management, process improvement, or data governance are preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborating with individuals across business functions to achieve shared goals and support organization-wide initiatives.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 3+ years of experience in digital transformation, business process improvement, innovation, analytics, technology enablement, or related roles.
  • Proven experience with digital tools such as:
    • Generative AI tools and copilots for research, drafting, summarization, and productivity support
    • Workflow automation and business process tools
    • Data visualization and reporting platforms
    • Collaboration, knowledge management, and digital productivity platforms
    • Project, portfolio, or change management tools
  • Understanding of how business systems, data sources, and operational processes connect across departments.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, system implementation, or basic scripting is preferred.
  • Strong project management, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
